Switchfoot was fan-flippin-tastic.

We had to wait ( as usual) for them to come out . The opening performers were Altered Frequency and Love Me Butch . Although the crowd was definitely more responsive towards Love Me Butch,eventhough it was not their best live show.

Altered Frequency’s lead singer is .. really.. um . Haha he tried entertaining the crowd with his “ signature joke” . Which *I* did not get at all.

It sorta went something like..

AF VOCALIST: What's the difference between falling from the 88th floor or the twin towers and falling from the first floor?

No response.

AF VOCALIST: When you fall from the 88th floor, you go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *plop*. But when you fall from the first floor, it goes *plop*, then AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Er…. Right .

Switchfoot opened with “ Oh , Gravity” . The crowd went mental. Definitely the best crowd interaction ever. At one point , SF’s vocalist , Jon Foreman came down from the stage and held hands with people .

The crowd pushed and pushed to get a chance to hold his hand . *I* was SO SO SO close but bad B.O guy was infront of me and I didn’t want to be soaked in his sweat. Le Sigh .

But Jon Foreman was such a sweetheart. He held hands with one of the people in the crowd and sang . It was amazing. He was absolutely mental though . He was so full of life and was jumping EVERWHERE. He even shredded his guitar with his TEETH. Switchfoot really knows how to entertain a crowd.

During one of the songs ,( I think it was American Dream ) the band literally FROZE for about a minute and a half . It was fucking amazing. The lights went off , and they remained in their cool positions. It was mind-blowing.
