Surfers Paradise,Beer Garden.

Dan Hume of Evermore performed first as a solo act. He was quite amazing. Except..no one really paid him much attention :( He had this Conor Oberst feel to his solo music. I dug it. The rest of the Gold Coast crowd must've been too engrossed with drinking to give a shit.

Amy Meredith was up next! They were REALLY good. I heard B.E a really long time ago,just never registered that this was the same band.

I ended up buying their CD. Met the guitarist. I SO KNEW HE WAS IN A BAND!! I saw him walking around the bar earlier and i thought " Oh...hm. So band-like." Low and behold, guitarist summore. ^^

Evermore finally came out. We were RIGHT infront,and as usual i stood next to really drunk girls who kept dancing and hitting me and then one of them ended up breaking a glass on my foot.. yeah that was swell.
And to apologize, she grabbed my head " OH MY GOD. IM SO SORRY. ...YOU HAVE NICE HAIR. *touches hair* CAN WE TAKE A PICTURE?" I asked her why and she said she was from England and she wanted a picture of someone from Gold Coast.
..Yeah British people.

Anyway, back to Evermore.

Jon's voice was so amazing. Whenever he'd go all voicepiping on our asses i'd get goosebumps listening to him.
Dan was exceptional. I've never seen a drummer so passionate ever. He beat the shit outta those drums. The three guys did alot of instrument-swapping which was really cool.

Such a good set.So so good. After the gig, we decided to hang around and meet the band. Got to meet Jon and Peter. Dan went to the back of the venue really quick :( Peter was one of the most refreshing people ever. He indirectly hinted that Gold Coast sucked balls,and we indirectly agreed. I told him he should eat Kebabs to which he responded " SHEEESH KEBABS I LOVE EM".

Since they started playing dancey music at Beer Garden we decided to stay awhile more. I somehow dragged by a random girl who handed me off to some..guy who apparently rejected Jaki because she wasn't ethnic enough. Which is how," I like your ethnicity" came about.

White people are funny.Crazy,but funny.

Overall, a really good night :) Cept for the glass embedded in my foot.
Ugh you drunk British chicks.

Arrived at the Metro REALLY early. Waited for what felt like forever. Adam and Matt got locked outta the Metro : ( Poor boys. Had such difficult getting in when THEY were the headlining act. It was quite comical though. Matt came out to hang with us for abit. He was SO nice. I'm starting to really really like Matt.

Eddie came out about an hour before the show started to smoke. He recognized me!! And he actually walked towards me to talk. I swear i was about to melt and die. He said he'd look out for me in the crowd. Haha i thought that wouldn't be possible seeing as there were SO many people there,but aiyo he actually did.

Everyone lined up and rushed to the front. I managed to squeeze infront. Met this really cool chick,Haley who was awesome concert company! Enter Shikari was up first.

They played a superbly pumping show! Sorry You're Not a Winner was DEFINITELY my favourite. I loved how the crowd clapped along. Mothership was.....the most epic performance EVER. I was in a very trance like state after that song. Mmmm mothership (y).

After much chanting and screaming and jumping,it was time for ................

Adam came out with a cigarette in his mouth. I screamed so loud i lost my voice by the third song. Oh my LORD. I got squished against the barrier so hard so many times. I guess that's the consequences for being RIGHT infront holding on to dear life. Haley and i clung on to each other LOL.

Eddie pointed at me during Cute Without The E and aimed his guitar at me,haha. To which i screamed even more at. Adam came SO close.
Fazzi was the only one who was a little far away :( but i still managed to get a few decent pictures.

They played an amazing set. I could barely converse after. Throat hurt SO bad. I fell insanely sick for 3 weeks after TBS FYI. That's how hectic it was.
After the concert, i decided to hang around and met a few more people who were at the concert.
Eddie came out AGAIN, and walked straight at me and asked if we were gonna hang again.
They were staying at The Sebel so i managed to hitch a ride with the van to head back with Eddie,Fazz & Izzy( no,not Izzat. the tour guitarist for TBS).

I felt like my entire world was being showered with candy. Me. in TBS's van. With Eddie. and Fazzi. ..Hi kill me?

Adam was a LITTLE dissapointing but i guess he can't really be blamed as he fell so sick after that as well. And he skipped on vacationing in Bali with the rest of the guys + family.

Stayed at The Seb for a few hours playing cards and taking shots again. Eddie really likes saying his weird colombian/spanish whatever saying before taking a shot. They had to leave for a 5AM flight AGAIN.

I don't know what i did to deserve their acquaintance but goddamn i love karma. I thought they'd forget me yknow,being just ANOTHER fan but Eddie and Faz were SO sweet. They said they'd send me merchandise*. Adam ...ohmyAdam. I will most definitely C,NC to meet Danger : D

Best band EVER. Why? Cuz they actually give a shit about their fans.Thanks for coming out and taking the time to talk to me outside the show and Ed,thanks for the multiple drinks and for losing every card game we played.Adam,i love you i still want to marry you.

The day my life began ♥♥

24 hours after landing in Gold Coast,i packed my bags with THREE cameras and headed to Brisbane with Hanne for the day i shall forever remember as the day my life began. I hadn't slept from the night before nor did i have a chance to recuperate from the horrible flight i had to endure, i left my apartment to meet Hanne at the train station at 7AM.

The train was FILLED with people who looked like they were going for Soundwave(which they were). We made friends with a few Taking Back Sunday fans who were only going to see TBS,as was I! The train ride was quite painful too. No seats were available,we had to stand that two hours it took to reach RNA Showgrounds in Bowen Hills.

As soon as we reached RNA Showgrounds,we checked out where the stages were then we went to get FOOOOOOOODDD. Hot dogs never tasted yummier.

I knew that there were signings going on but i didn't know WHO was doing signings. After checking the tent, i saw TAKING BACK SUNDAY/ THE ALMOST. I freaked out and immediately lined up.

Lining up.......was ohmy. Hanne and i lined up for nearly an hour in the HOT SUN! Thank god SW Patrol came around with Sunblock and water spritzers!

After about 45 minutes of lining up, SW helpers came around the line holding signs for which artists had run outta signing tickets. I started freaking out majorly.
I was about..5 people away from buying my tickets when i heard " Taking Back Sunday tickets 3 left!"
I swear i could feel tears coming. I crossed my fingers and thank you JESUS, i got the last motherfucking TBS ticket! I managed to get The Almost tickets too!

After that, we rushed to TBS' stage.
About ten minutes after we got there, i turned around and...

PACKED!

I was kinda amused by these guys. Kinda pity the guy at the bottom,had to withstand the weight of TWO people on him.

After about..45 minutes of waiting. The most glorious sound was heard.....the beginning to Cute Without The E!!!!
I grabbed Hanne's hand and pushed my way infront-er(ha). The moshpit was INSANE.
I've never been moved so much in a moshpit,EVER.

TAKING BACK FUCKIN` SUNDAY

Adam Lazzara, you are.............i don't think i can even find words to express what i felt when he sang or when he hung from the whateveryoucall it during MakeDamnSure.
They were SO energetic! Sang the most awesome songs. Adam did his legendary mic-swinging. Oh my GOD. I still can't believe i was there. After watching them live, i started getting super pumped up for Sydney!

TBS' signing was right after their performance, so we rushed to the signing tent. Aaaaaaaaaaaa!
Adam was SO awesome! He was SO nice. I got my shirt signed! I didn't get pictures,YET :p
Saw him walking around the MacBeth tent a few hours later and i managed to snag a super sweet picture. I can't move it up for some reason, so it's somewhere at the bottom of this post.
I'll take a picture of my shirt sometime soon..when i can be fucked,haha.

They signed my shirt too. Aaron G is SO adorable in real life. Jay was so nice! He spoke the most among all of em. When i asked Aaron for a picture, he warned me in advance," I feel funny today, so i'm going to make a funny face",to which i just giggled to nervously. Hahaha. It's a really cute picture of him though.

JEW's performance was pretty goddamn impressive. MCR was originally supposed to play Soundwave but was replaced by Jimmy Eat World. Smart move.

I've been a Paramore fan since All We Know Is Falling came out, NOT RIOT like all you other followers .___. So annoying.

Hayley was a fireball on stage. So adorable. She kept jumping around,dancing,headbanging. She definitely made the performance WAAAY more enjoyable. I watched her in awe as she jumped around and still maintained a perfect pitch. Respect. Didn't really manage to get proper pictures of Taylor :( He was all the way at the other end of the stage. I managed to get screen shots though. I'll just put up the one i like best :)

ALEXISONFIRE!

Whoa. Alexisonfire's performance was damn impressive! Young Cardinals was AMAZING. Hanne and I squeeeezed through every little hole we found to make it right infront! Haha, pretty good effort la :p

Hanne and i were so tired after Soundwave. We saw a few more performances but all my camera's died on me after awhile. So we left to our hotel to freshen up before hitting Soundwave's After Party!

The After Party was pretty meh for the first 4 hours. All Time Low was spinning. The only reason Hanne and I went was for Taking Back Sunday cuz they were SUPPOSED to spin,but didn't for some reason. I only managed to see Eddie walking around The Continental the entire night. I was so nervous about asking him for a picture,but finally got the balls to after he had his 10000th smoke.
I managed to mutter a few words about how big a fan i am of Taking Back Sunday and that i'm from Malaysia and some other really random stuff. Then .. as i was walking away he called after me and asked if i wanted a drink.

I stared at Hanne and she stared at me. Our faces were like WHUUUUUT. OBVIOUSLY we said okay and went back inside to drink with Eddie. What a tremendously sweet dude.

He bought us BOTH drinks and he repeated a few times how he thought it was really cool that i ditched home a few days earlier in order to make it back for TBS' performance.
How i love you Eddie! We hung out with Eddie until he had to leave for his 6AM flight. I think i slapped myself a bunch of times after that because I.hung.out.with.TBS's.guitarist.

I got some inside information FROM THE HORSES' MOUTH as to why TakingBackSunday's gig in Indonesia got cancelled,HEHEEEE.

Seoul Garden... my new favourite place,EVER. Zal,Sya,Aman and I went there once when we had a LOOOT of time to kill before a movie & Aman and I hadn't been there before,so why not? It turned out to be one of the best time killing satisfying decisions EVER.

So for my farewell, it was deemed appropriate to eat there with everyone :) Thanks to those who made an effort to show up :) & to those that sent out text msgs inviting people to come.

I thought it was pretty good. Taylor Swift/Lautner were extremely annoying in the movie. If i had something sharp to throw that would have ACTUALLY hurt them i would've thrown it at the screen. Waste of airtime,i swear. Bradley Cooper,yum.
Julia Roberts quite kelefeh ,but she's so pretty. I love Emma Roberts.
Ashton Kutcher was so adorable,as usual. McSteamy was steamy.

Storyline abit...yeah alright. But it's definitely a must watch if you like looking at hot faces.

Our beloved Izzy J turned 19th on the 11th of February. The night before we headed to the new Murni's. Surprised him with Milsya's aunt's AWESOME cupcakes + Pavlova. He probably thought the surprise ended there...but uh huhh honey, that's not all we planned for Izzy J.

About a week earlier i think, Milsya,Zal and I were already thinking of things to do but our plans always got complicated because of college and curfews. After awhile deciding, we finally decided on a BBQ Pool party at Aziz's condo.

Izzat's entire birthday week was spent going to One Utama multiple times to find Izzy a present. All of us agreed on Macbeth shoes. (because they are cool. Oh and,Adam Lazzara wears them!Ok no, but that was MY reason :p )

Friday was SO hectic. So so hectic. Picked up Alisya from the LRT station then the both of us went to Giant to meet up with Milsya & YeeLing to get the food for the BBQ.

We were SO undecided with the amount of lamb! I think we bought more than enough in the end though :)

Then i got a text from Izzat asking what i was doing or something and i lied and said i was washing my car and i`d text after I was done. Mm yeah about 3 hours later i texted back saying i'm finally done with all the errands i had to do and if he wanted to meet up.

THEN AH. Aiyooo. Stress.

He suddenly said he had to pick up his friend from the LRT station and that he'd meet up after. And ALL OF US, forgot that his friend was coming. Complications MAX ok.

After about 2-3 hours of freaking out, Alisya and i cooked up a diabolical plan. We got Izzy to come pick me up. Alisya went to hide when Izzat was outside. I went outside with a scarf and told Izzat that we have to go somewhere and that i have to blindfold him and drive. Not the INTIAL plan, but it worked out anyway.

Alisya was dubbed"Hannibal", the voiceless helper in the car! Hahaha.

Izzat kept trying to get Hannibal to speak, but to no avail. Hoho. Izzat was SO GODDAMN FIDGETYYYY. Lord jesus christ.He tried recognizing the route i was taking so i had to create a diversion by driving into SMKDJ's housing area and reversing/going into small lanes/stopping/reversing again.

We finally reached Aziz's place and Izzat kept saying hello to random people as he was blindfolded and..I actually don't know why he said hi to random people. Haha.

Poor boy was quite freaked out when we used steps and when he felt water touching his feet.
He kept saying," RHEMA RHEMA HANNIBAL PLEASE PLEASE NO WATER PLEASE PLEASE NO WATERRR WEEEII DONT WANT LAAA RHEMAAAA".
I'm here trying to NOT burst out laughing, I just kept saying "NOOOO LETS GO!"

We got him to the edge of the pool and BOOM, he was throw inside very effectively.

Then we presented Izzat with his Macbeths in a pretty cloth bag which we all (the night before),decorated at Faizal's place!

The BBQ had to be dunzo by 10PM unfortunately. Sya,Zal,Milsya,YL and I did most of the cleaning,while the rest of them went to shower. But see,helping out has its benefits because the 5 of us were able to shower at Aziz's condo :D Instead of some pool-side washroom. Hoho.

Alisya and i felt SO incredibly clean after that, our cleanliness deserved a picture.

Izzat re-opened his present and tried em on. All of us agreed that the shoes would look smex with his WB jeans! Who picked the jeaaaaaaans la :p

We hung out for a bit at Aziz's apartment before everyone started leaving one by one. Sya,Zal and I chilled out a bit more and watched Surrogates. I drove with one eye closed back home. I was SO tired,holy. I don't even remember what happened after that i think i just went home and died until the next evening.
So there you go :)

Happy Birthday Izzy J :) I'm sorry you had to be tortured in the car,but I hope you had fun! Love ya long time partner in crime :D

Never in my life did i think,Saosin would step on Malaysian soil. When i first heard that they were coming, i think i was SO excited i could barely contain myself. As the date approached,i lost most of my excitement. Even on the day of the concert, i was so uninterested and irritated, i felt like bailing.

Thank goodness i had pretty awesome people around me who made me feel a little better and Saosin turned out to be part of a series of fortunate events that has been following me until..today.

Saosin was SO enjoyable. I went with Izzy,Naz,Milsya,YL,Hariz & Ashy. The boys were in the biggest mosh pit ever. Yee Ling and i stuck together and braced the crowd! We were quiiiite near the stage. Mosh/Pushing skills yo.

Love Me Butch was the opening act. Everytime i hear them, they honest get better and better.

January 2010, was pretty difficult for me. I had just started interning in NST, and trust me it was god awful. The only perks was meeting Malaysian bands and interviewing them. The people in NST are ... yeah. Let's just say i barely survived.
Working 9-5, driving home + getting stuck in the jam really does take a toll. Ofcourse, i am to blame for going out until 5/6AM everyday. But.. i didn't want to waste my time in Malaysia,so yeah.
Thank you Izzy for the latelate night rides around.. i don't even remember where we went or WHY we went there, we just...drove. LOL.

A few days(?) after New Years,after a failed trip to Opera/Rootz, Trina and I decided to head to LOP for the first time ever. We dragged Hariz along.

Hariz.. is horrible when it comes to being `chill` about illegal activities. God,hariz.

January was also especially hard because the boy i spent my entire 3 months with,left. So abruptly. So fast. I don't think Trina and I had time to wrap ourselves with the fact that Jervis was leaving.

The boys organized a farewell dinner ( LALA CHONG FOR THE WIN!!) for Jervis the night before he left, and then we headed to LOP, just for a final hurrah.

I'll just blog about December since it was the most happening month. Trina came over to stay the entire month, 3 days a week. We went clubbing almost ..everyday i think(?)

We went to a few failed events ; but the company made up for it.

End of College Party.

Ministry Of Sound had some end of semester event, so a bunch of us decided to go. Mm,music was not impressive. Took pretty pictures though!

Space ; Sya's Birthday.

We were supposed to go for the LMFAO event @ Mansion, but..hotddamn,Mansion was so unbelievably empty we decided to bail. And the clock was ticking , and Alisya's birthday was at 12. We really didn't want to make her spend her 20th birthday on a ROAD in Heritage. We quickly decided on Space which looked the most full... I'd say it was a very very good decision.

Space was pretty good. They renovated the inside, and Alisya ( according to her & faizal ; had the best first time clubbing experience ever). So i'm very satisfied.

Milsya was unfortunately unable to join because he was in Phuket? Yeah, phuket :(

The next day was Alisya's Surprise Party @ Redbox Pavillion.

Faizal organized it ,and i co-organized it. Faizal,Alisya and her twin sister + boyfriend were already in Pavillion watching a movie so my job was to get everyone to meet at my place on time and leave on time +cake bladiblabla. I think if i were a party planner i'd lose my mind. Seriously.

7pm-3AM Karaoke session. Mmmm. Was very stoned until a few people left :) heh.

Night to remember la ; the amount of times we sang Bad Romance( thank you Izzy & Faizal for repeating :p ) Trina and i sang a few old karaoke numbers. Aman & Ashton were the most passionate singers of the night. Nazrin did a dance for all of us to..well,laugh at :p

Hariz........................HAHAHAHA. Sang/Danced for all of us . I wish i took videos of the Thriller dance the boys did, i must steal it from Faizal!

Alisya and Faizal should just get married + make babies and start a band ; just saying :p

All ended very well ; Alisya was pretty surprised. Her twin sister was also really surprised.

I went to the lovely Bangkok with the aunt for about 3 days. Bangkok is awesome. My aunt and i had the best seafood dinner..EVER. Thinking about it still makes me full. I reckon it's the best seafood i've ever eaten yo. SO yummers.

Christmas Eve.

Trina and I woke up pretty late, rushed to grocery shop. Rushed home, and started cooking around 4PM. People started coming at 8/9PM.

Since Steve Aoki was SO good,I figured The Bloody Beetroots would be the same.But,ofcourse..Mm.

2009,for me was the definition of bittersweet.

I've never had more ups,neither have i had more downs. But looking back, i dare say 2009 was a really good year. I barely can remember all the bad things ( okay,i can but it's all such a blur).
This year, i learned alot more "life lessons" as they call it. Lessons i'd definitely bear in mind whenever i think of doing something/saying something.

The people who've stuck by me since i left ; I don't think words/pictures/or even smiles can explain how thankful i am that it's all of you who stuck by me. Definitely the best group of people.

She sang SO many songs. I've gotta admit that she doesn't look happy anymore doing it, but she's still so awesome.

The concert build up was amazing!
Perez Hilton appeared on that screen for some reason. That was kinda odd..but yeah.

I really wasn't interested in going for any celebratory events for Halloween. But Hanne & Natalie convinced me that UniBar would be fun blah blah blah. I got sucked in and got pretty pumped for Halloween.

Managed to finish my News&Politics assignment on Thursday and then headed to AusFair to meet up with Marta & Hanne to shop for costumes. Preeetty late costume shopping which resulted in us finding nothing.

After a few hours of walking around and looking,Marta found her costume first. Pft lucky girl :( I was still deciding what i wanted to dress up as. Decided we'd take a break and have Kebabs for lunch when Hanne starts pointing,going " NATALIE NATALIE NATALIE! ITS TEACUP!"

Natalie was at AusFair blur-ly walking about when we were frantically waving at her. Marta chased after her THEN ONLY she realized that we were calling her. Haiyo teacup.
Nat joined us shopping after Kebabs.
All of us managed to find outfits after..7 hours of shopping and walking around. Mmmhm. Seven. Hours.

Friday.
Went over to Hanne's for PRE-predrinks. Marta showed her bar-tending skills! Tequila shots tres bien :) Went to UniBar pretty late. Que'ed up for about 20 minutes before getting our tags.

UniBar was very impressive! Music was really really good and everyone was SO dressed up, I felt rather under-dressed (meh,there's always next halloween.)

I particularly liked the guys dressed in ghost outfits(you kno,cloth over their bodies), they kept dragging us in their cloth. We formed a huge circle IN their cloth and danced in there instead.
It was pretty funny :p

Since there were so many she-devils around, we all sorta went to the Ladies at the same time and decided to form a group and start hitting people with our devil-wand-things. So off we went, in fours and started hitting people's bums with our devil-wand things...which i lost as the night progressed. Where i lost it, i don't remember. Hahaa.

Hanne and I decided to bail on UniBar after a couple of hours to go to Marta's club,Cocktail's & Dreams. We took the drunk bus to Surfers. I love the drunk bus.
Super funny characters in the bus. All of them were from uni ofcourse, but so funny. We made friends with a few people ON the bus to surfers and they tagged along to C's&D.

C's&D was unbelievably fun-ner than UniBar. I was too out of it to be able to snap pictures...so yeah. I dropped my bag somewhere in Surfers and broke my favourite Chanel perfume *sigh*

Crawled back into my apartment around 6,couldn't be fucked to wash up first and just crashed. Woke up an hour later without a hangover ,instead with energy to go running around my area.

I managed to pull of a huge hoax during SpringBreak! GU have us a week off for Spring Break and Papa Moses bought me a ticket home. Right on time for RAYAAAA :) *LEMANGRENDANGKETUPATYUM.

Only difference with this trip back was that NO ONE knew. Except well, Adrian, Adri & Taty :p

I told everyone i was going to Sydney for Spring Break, which i initially was but Dad said the flights were the same price and if i wanted to come home it'd be okay as well. So i went home :) HEHE.

I landed on Saturday the 26th. I wanted to surprise Trina first but meh she was in KL :( So mom called Vanessa saying, I sent a package and if she could drop it off. Ofcourse there was no REAL package, except for ME.

Mom drove to Vanessa's house and Vanessa came out...and i ran from behind and she started screaming " I KNEW IT" . Yer potong la you.

But you were atleast a LITTLE bit surprised yes? Ok good :) Haha. Then she helped me surprise Alison. Whoa, her reaction's listed under the "Best reaction " category.

Surprise No1 -
Vanessa called Alison, saying I sent a package. Drove to Alison's house, parked at the side of her house so she wouldnt' see me. Alison came out, Vanessa walked in her house, slumbering making conversation. And i bolted from behind the gate and screamed and Alison starts crying and going ohmygod ohmygod.
Yeeeeeeees la. Surprise numero dos DOWN!

Then i think i went to hang with Adrian for awhile. Surprised Dinesh too :p He kept saying i wasn't real -_- Idiot.

Trina was DAMN hard to surprise la!!! I took my mother's phone and texted Trina asking when she would be home. And Trina responded saying she'd come over to get the package isntead of my mom going to her. So okaay. I was super restless waiting for Trina to come over.

Surprise 2#
I'm out for dinner with Adrian & Dinesh when my aunt calls and says trina's outside. I'm like WHAAAA?
Told my aunt to stall her. And i parked my car behind my house, and i run ( i seem to have been running alot i know ) towards my house. And trina's outside my house and she says to my aunt, " Is that..Rhema running?". And when i finally appear infront of my house, in standard Trina fashion the reaction is " WHAT.THE.FUCK. OHMYGOD. YER. OHMYGOD. YER *hits me* YER. YER. OHMYGOD. *hugs* OMG. OHMYGOD. WHAT THE FUCK. *hits me*"

I just giggle endlessly :p She was quite surprised la ; i am VERY happy :) I ask Trina if she wants to be in on surprising everyone else! And we head to Mcdonalds first to surprise Aaron. Then we headed over to Rasta to surprise the rest of the guys.
Man was i nervous. Super nervous.

They said Izzat would be coming soon so i ran to the back of Rasta with Ashton. Then we slowly walk back and Izzat and Dinie are there. Izzat's facing towards the big screen so i AGAIN, creep up from behind. I walk to his side* but he doesn't notice -_-

I got into an accident for THE FIRST TIME in Mcdonalds when i was going to meet the guys for lunch -_____- So pariah. I was super freaked out i swear. Had to go to the police station to make a police report ; which was quite a waste of time might i add.

I got an email, about 4 months ago from Hi-Fi, Brisbane. You know, the regular updates about who's going to play, ticketing bladiblabla. And i usually never open them, cuz ..i dont know. I just don't.

But i opened this one.

What did i find?

ANBERLIN.

THE ACADEMY IS.

ON THE SAME DAY.

I bought my tickets the day after and have been looking forward to the day ever since.

I went,i saw, i had the best fucking time ever.

Who? The Academy Is + Where Wolves were Anberlin's opening acts.
Where? Brisbane. Since i live in the Coast now, i took a train about 4 hours before the gates opened. Waited for like.. 2 and a half hours for the gates to be opened.

Good lord, the wait was painful. I was so nervous! IDK why. The thought of seeing Anberlin and TAI excited/freaked/OMGOMGOMGOMG`ed me to the highest level.

Where Wolves performed first. I didn't know that A Year To Remember changed their name to Where Wolves. And that they were from Brisbane. Really swell guys. Played an awesome awesome set. I recognized some songs from their ` a year to remember ` days. awesome awesome live performance. jared's the cutest drummer ever. After the show, i met Bryce and he was super cool.

He pulled Lazzara-stunts. You know, the mic swinging and throwing the mic stand around. Super enjoyable i swear. He's so talented. Sisky was AWESOME, after being sick for so long. He managed to come out and play an awesome fuckin show. TAI was...awesome.

They were SO energetic and AMAZING live. I swear it was like a dream come fucking true. I managed to record videos for TL,Pickles & Zy :)

When they finished performing i felt..so content it was insanee. I made a couple of new friends too,haha. People standing next to me who tried saving me from this insanely smelly OLD PERSON. Ick.

They came out with a bang. A big big BANG. First song was The Resistance.
The moshing started la. I was squished TO THE DEATH ( hehe naz).

I could barely move or breathe for that matter, but then people started forming circles to mosh and i got pushed into it.So..yeah OKAY. The end results ; a huge ass bruise on my face from a crowd surfer who kicked me in the face and ripped off all my earrings on my right ear. Bruises on my arms and legs.

I hate thinking that these are games.

You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. I left Malaysia today. Saying goodbye this time was horrible. I've never cried so much,so long ever. Thank you ; Alison,Dinesh,Aaron,Vanessa,Trina,Rachel,Izzy,Milsya,Yeeling,Naz&Hariz for coming to the airport. Meant the world to me<3>16th of June - 19th of July. Everyday was a blast. Every-single-fucking-day.

My first day in KL was already awesome. After a long long flight, i was greeted at the airport by Trina,Jervis and Dad. After that, we went back to my place and TL,Koo & I went to J for some breakfast. Mmmmyum, nasi lemak @ 7am in J is the bomb diggity wei. Then Jervis had to..go somewhere and Trina had..class was it? I then called Hariz and woke him up :p Hehe sorry! And then we met up with Izzat @ Mcdonalds.

Izzat had to go for class after that, so we met up with everyone else. My nights were mostly spent with Izzat,Hariz& gang. The daily routine would be " safa jom? " or " eh eh williams la " , and i`d whine a little about going to Williams..because of the cockroaches la :P
My later nights/early mornings were spent with Najee,Ah Ying & Taty. I'll blog about significant happenings la & a few other insignificant to you but..important to me stuff (:

Bali ;

My aunt has been talking about Bali for awhile now. This trip back, we finally went with Trina ! We stayed at Kuta Seaview Resort. Jebus k, i love the place. It's so adorable. The flight there was..ick in my opinion. I really don't like AirAsia ay.

First night in Bali was..EPIC. Had dinner at the Hard Rock. Ribs were YUMMERS. Terserempak with a guy that looked like a hotter version of Zac Efron! SERIOUS. Stayed at the Hard Rock for abit watching the band playing ..hehe. Went back to the hotel and got ready to go clubbing. Fuckload of white people in the clubs yo. Who are EXTREMELY tall. Trina and i felt so short..and ..well short -_- Jeeeez. Clubbing was really fun, haha.

The events that happened after will be saved in the vault of " whats happens in bali,stays in bali" Sozcakes ya`ll :) *plays show me love. FUCK YEAH.

The next day, after we recovered and stuff. We went for dinner and a little bit of shopping. Sunday was our last day, woke up earlier to shop and managed to get a bunch of stuff.

After Trina & i went to Mango to join the guys for abit, went back home to change and pick up Koo & Mariam we headed to MOS at about..12 haha. It wasn't too bad, music wasn't really my kinda groove. Some very strange guy kept intruding on all our pictures. Trina called him " Jason"( the guy in the pink shirt) because he looks abit like Eyebrows Jason.

Colin's Birthday ;

Stopped by Colin's birthday with Trina. Sean Lim/Shawn i duno la, is super funny. Boy can't seem to drink very well. Westchester dropped by too! Left the party after a few hours, then came home to meet up with the guys . Izzat,Nazrin,Hariz ended up staying over :) Very,very interesting night <3

Dodgeball ;

Milsya randomly called one day and said he was playing for TOC's Dodgeball team. Rounded everyone up and headed to the Curve to watch Milsya play! Soooooo cute i swear. All aggro and into the game. I have no pictures.. although i think Ninjafish has pictures..i took videos! So..here's one :)

We went for a few matches after that. TOC lost by..1 think to Taylors! He went head on with PuaZ smo.

Pavillion with Sluttycakes ;

Went to Coffee Bean, talked about every single thing in the world.[ skinjee&prism la mainly] Went to La Senza after that, and ended up camho`ing in the dressing room. Eh don't judge k! We HARDLY go inside dressing rooms and take pictures shamelessly. So shush. The ride back was super fun la.
It was raining and the road was blocked , so we took a really long way back to PJ. We ended up blasting music in the car and dancing, yes dancing. And making weird movements , so weird that other cars just stared at us.

Taylors ADP Prom ;

Before prom.. i think i was buying dvds with izzat. I think. Rushed home and got ready for prom. Picked up Trina who was nice enough to drive for me while i was fixing my make up and shoes all. Picked up Pua Sze and off we were to Rennaisance. Saw familliar faces a.k.a Daniel :)

Haha fuck she's funny. The entire night..was really hahaha. First, we walked all the way upstairs only to find out we were in the wrong wing and then walked all the way. Then got lost going to the hotel room , had to walk all the way back to the previous wing. Alot of walking la basically. I just kept laughing at Pua Sze's frustration.

Spent most of the night in the room, managed to get food from Prom. Played STC :) Haha. Dropped Trina home after Prom and then went home to meet Izzy & Hariz. We watched.. some Demi Lovato movie! Hahaha.

MOS - Mad Max Event ;

i went to watch 17 again with Izzy & Kira . Aaahh Zac Efron's so adorable in the movie la. I'm really not a fan of Zac, but daaaaaym son. He's absolutely gorgeous in the movie. So charming. Izzat went all gaga over the leather jacket ;) Mmmmm ;);) yum.Sighs*

After the movie, Izzat reminded me i had to pay bills and shit. Such a doll, drove me to the ATM and to pay my bills and then picked up Trina for me also. All the guys were going to go for the Mad Max event, so i was EVEN more excited la. The night..was amazing. I had so so so much fun. I'm so happy everyone else had fun! I went with the BEST group of people ever. Although there was a little bit of complication regarding the stamps and who was staying for to club and all, i`m so so so happy you all stayed! :)

Izzat,Van,West,Naz,Faritz,Jinyin,Ling,Syam,Ash,Rizzo,Trina,Jervis & Faizal (who joined a little later). You guys are the BEST mofuckin` crowd ever la :) :) I smiled for days just thinking about it. Still smiling :)

After baking, Pua Sze had to leave so the rest of us went to Hartamas Square for dinner. After hanging for abit, i picked up Ninjafish & headed to Old Town to meet Ashypashy.

I remember meeting RL for the first time back when I was fresh meat at SMKDJ through the person who ironically brought us together at the end.
I barely saw much of RL at school 'cause she was like a full moon that only appeared on rare occassions so there wasn't much opportunity to be acquainted you see.

Besides that,everyone thought I was racist against indians anyway,which was partially true at that time.

What irony that I'd end up with an indian as my closest friend.
But then again,she's practically chinese through my eyes.

Through the course of 4 years give or take,I've gone through so much with this girl.The best December ever,pointlessly fun roadtrips,late night gallivanting,the most epic concerts ever,signature stoning,anti-social ipod times,unnecessary drama,missing-the-train-because-I-forgot-to-take-my-luggage-bag and missing-the-bus-because-we-were-at-the-wrong-platform moments,stupid tag lines like "scotty doesn't know"&"yippi-ki-yay",weekly Hartamas ritual,failed and successful drunken nights,getting lost on the road and blasting road mixes while wandering around,walking into MOS on ladies night and having a blast eventhough it's just the 2 of us.

There's just too many to list out,but those are off the top of my head.

On the surface she might not seem like it,but inside she's made of Adamantium(You know,like the metal in Wolverines body)with a pink gummy heart covered with sparkly magical pixie dust that makes her that much more twisted.
This tough cookie is practically impenetrable. (Ew.)
Through all the rough patches,she was always there and she does not fail to aid the situation.
She's like the wind that blows the last line of cocaine away when I'm close to OD-ing,the condom/pepperspray when I'm about to get fucked by some guy with HIV/AIDs or in other words,my life vest during a crash.

So few of you could only imagine what it was like when she was leaving for that stinkin country,Aussie.I'm not exaggerating when I say that it felt like a part of me was gone.It's like taking apple aloe vera away from me,forever. (o.o)
I had been so accustomed to RL always being there that it was overwhelming how so much changed.

When I wanted to get out of the house,I'd pick up the phone and start dialing RL's number and eventually realize that she isn't here anymore.
Or when I'd be laughing hysterically at something and I'll start looking around and expecting RL to be laughing with me and end up finding myself laughing alone.
And it doesn't help much that everything I do reminds me of the good times,From Viva La Bam to Creme Brulee to Hartamas Square's sweet&sour chicken with fried rice.
Don't even get me started on the music that just conjures up reminders that you're all the way there and I'm stuck here.

That bitch might as well piss all over my life to mark her territory,really.

Look,so cool right.It's like half of her face in 1 picture and half of my face in the other.

So this is where shows like OneTreeHill & The OC comes in handy,contrary to popular belief that it's just some stupid series,it helps la,I slowly accepted her absence and adjusted.Albeit I still miss her a fuckloads,but at least we still contact each other frequently & it is quite freaky but cool how we get all telepathic sometimes and that just makes it a whole lot more comforting.

Yeah, so it's been roughly around 3 weeks since my short stint back in Malaysia. How time passes man! Feels like i was back there just last week, but it's already been three and i've already started my second semester here and I've got another 1 month to my birthday , another 3 to finishing and starting my degree. I swear, it's all so fast. Slightly overwhelming really. So,home was...home. I wouldn't say it felt comfortable because it wasn't all that comfortable. What? With the weather totally fucking me over on the VERY FIRST DAY..or..the drama that followed being back home. But it was definitely fun, it was rough but funfunfun. I miss everyone so bad now, being back just made me miss everyone alot more. 3 more months and i'm back again! I missed Brisbane quite abit though, but home was filled with the bestest of people and awesomepossum food!

8th February.
The first day was really..god. I hate Singapore, they stole my Jager :( So i whined about it for.. days . But the moment i stepped outta the terminals and check in i saw the bestest people in the world who gave a shit to wake up at 6am/7am to be able to stand at the waiting area at 8am SHARP to pick me up! For that, the amount of gratitude and love i have for each of you right.. i swear. I don't even know where to begin :) :) Trina,Louis,Tuck,Jervis,Faritz,Izzy,Syam,Rizzo & Naz ; you guys are AWESOME *chokes everyone with hugs*♥ ♥ ♥ Headed to my house for breakfast to see my rents and my doggie ♥ i missed my mommy and aunt so much :( and then headed to Kayu ( ROTI TELUR!!!!!!!!) to meet Jeremy who came back from NS for abit. I really don't remember what i did EVERYDAY, but everyday was spent with the above people and a few additions.

Visiting West & Dees ; Went to Help Uni/College to visit Westchester with Dees & Rizzo. On the way back, Rizzo took like..4 de-tours , dropped my touch&go card on the road BEFORE the touch&go booth. Had to stop the car and get it.. thank goodness we didn't really disrupt the traffic :p

Space/ MOS ;

Trina & Dees slept over, decided to check out Heritage Row. The weather was a major mood killer, the rain was...ugh. Space was relatively empty, Naj told me people usually go there on Friday instead of Thursdays -_- Wtf man, wtf. Bailed and went to MOS instead. MOS was awesome la, awesome music again. Jagers!! Pavillion ;

Izzy was nice enough to teman me to go shopping :) Hariz just tagged along cuz he was bored -_-" Ok , nola! Hariz also wanted to teman meee :) :) Man, there was hardly anything to buy oke :( Quite depressing. Quite. Left after a couple of hours, stopped by Hartamas to buy dvds, then got a call from Trina who was in college. Drove to Subang and picked her up along with Shafique who DID NOT tell me his friend was going to be coming along. Squishsquish*.

Bar Celona -
Tuck's friends were in Bar Celona so we decided to go join his friend , Adrian who was having his birthday there. I've never seen more lala people in my life. The music was...meh. I was not impressed -_-" Stupid place. Tuck got absolutely smashed; on FOUR mixes. Four. Yes, four. He was on the floor, puking and shiz. Boy can't drink for shit.

Izzy's 18th Birthday.
Milsya planned this whole ordeal. Milsya went to pick Izzy up , and then called me and i said i was still getting ready ( which i wasn't )and asked them to come in the house first to wait, so Izzy walked in ... and SURPRIIIISEEEE!

Milsya's aunt's cupcakes are the bomb shiznitt. Holy balls okay. They were the best tasting cupcakes EVER. Beats fucken Cuppcakes + that..other cupcake shop. SIGH, they were AWESOMEEE. Izzy was nice enough to leave some for me :p We had shissha at my place, courtesy of Adam. The guys slept over at my place and we ended up watching DVDS again :p

Rachel & Tuck's Birthday -
Rachel turned 18 whilst i was there, Trina and i headed to her place to surprise her. That was epic man, she was SO surprised it was hilarious! After that, her friends and tuck's friends had a birthday collaboration since it was his 19th birthday. We celebrated in Matsuba :)

But then TrizzleyTriz ( yeah new name :P ) had a beyond brilliant idea aye. MOS. So we kindaaaa ditched them poor boys for abit, and went to MOS ourselves because ;
1. It was Thursday = Ladies Night = Free Entry.

So in we went! Holy crap it was funtastic. I had my jagers(!!!!!!). Trina couldn't try it cuz she was sick :( But awesome la, i couldn't feel how the floor was vibrating though.. didn't feel like it was to me. But meh, i had so much fun! And it was jst the both of us. I was so exhausted after that and contented ; you know..with the jagers <3>

So the day before i left, i went jamming with the boys :p Hehe, that was really fun! Aaron is a damn good drummer la!! They played their own songs and so cute ok, they sang a remixed version of Check Yes Juliet , with my name in it :p HEHEHEE. So cute. Later on , went to FS,shissha-ed ladida.

Then Zy,Milsya,Rizzo & Naz slept over. Najee & Dinie stopped by for abit. I forgot what we watched :p Izzat is getting better at staying awake during movies -_-" The next morning , we said our goodbyes and they left :( Then Vanessa & Jeremy came over to help me pack and shizz, followed by Adrian. We had shots at my house and someone got drunk :p Siiiiiiigh, i miss all of you. Thanks so much for hanging out with la , you guys made me feel so special. The endless DVD marathons ( which kinda tak jadi cuz someone fell asleep :p ) , and Genting and club-hopping and mamak sesh's.

Went to Jimmy's in the city with TK,Cherry,Angus and Nadine. Had fuckall fun. I had this amazingly yummy drink there. Choco-something. Tastes like milkshake with alcohol. Major yums. Chilled there for about..5 hours. Talking about the drama at res to our lives back at home to our girly conversations which the guys just had to bare with. Kaz joined us a little while after :D Went back to res at like 5 in the morning. Couldn't really sleep properly but i managed to wake up before 4 .

Aussie Day EVE!

We had our bubble picnic! Lysha made the most orgasmic freakin cupcakes ever , and Nadine and I bought two cakes from the Cheesecake shop and Pizza.

Started our picnic at like..8pm LOL. It was intensely fun. Lysha insisted that i play Aussie music since it's Australia Day weekend. I had very minimal Aussie music though. But she was happy with Kisschasy, ACDC,Silverchair and The Getaway Plan. Cherry,TK,Andrew and Angus joined us too. We had food leftover so we ended up calling the rest of the guys to join us.

I have no ideaa how, but we ended up in a massive cake fight. It was funny as! Lysha and Chuckie got cake all over my hair. Had to wash my hair 6 times and i still smell like caramel. Pfts. Our little pet , Kaz said it looked like a horse cummed all over me -_-" Bitch.

So.. this was my first Christmas abroad,without family or friends that i've known for like..eons beside me. I have to say it was..different. Nadine and i went shopping like 3 days before Christmas to get presents for the guys and each other . Shops were closing pretty late so we made full use of our time. We spend 8 hours shopping. I came home with like..20 bags. At the end of the day though, we were so worried we got each other the same thing.. since we have this whole telepathic thing going on ( i swear, we say the same things at the exact same fuckin second).

wrapped all the presents and waited for two days to give em to the guys and each other.

Christmas Eve.

Went to Garden City with Chuckie,Julian and Nadine to get alcohol and Pike's present engraved. Was gonna go to Chae's place to get some happy stuff for the guys at res but Julian couldn't be fucked driving that far.. so yeah. Went back to res to give the guys their presents, their reactions were sooo cute!! They seemed really really happy with their shirts, and we got shirts to match their personalities it was hilarious .

Then got ready and had a couple of Cruisers before everyone decided to crash an asian party. So..okay, Greenslopes it was.

Fuck this place was far. The party..was entirely asian. And i mean..Japanese/Korean kinda Asian. with 2 black guys, me , nadine,chuckie ,kaz and julian. I just sat with Nadine out on the balcony the entire time..keeping ourselves busy. Asian people are insane when their drunk. It was..eughhh. So disgusting ok! If only i was bothered enough to take pictures of what happened.

NEW YEARS EVE.

New years was way more interesting. Started of for me as being a major downer though, missing my friends and my family. When my mother called i probably cried like a fuckload had to go up to do my makeup again -_- yeah..not fun. But then it got better.

the guys organised a party in and out of the roundhouse. they bought an amazing amount of alcohol.. jesus . it was a fuckload. i was sitting outside the roundhouse, where the shissha was. they had licourish flav. it was actually pretty darn good. and i really don't like licourish.

it was a pretty good night. angus a.k.a DJ 69 organized the music. the night took a twist after zeus got insanely drunk though. he started making out with Yui..and she proceeded to rape him continuously. by rape i mean, she pounced on him on the chair and they were full on macking. it was funny as.

And then she ended up making out with 5 other guys, one of them being a dude called Champion. Yeah, i know.

Before the countdown, we all went up to Lowana building's rooftop. Drank a little more, and watched the fireworks that was going on in the city. Tom,Nick and Angus ended up climbing on top of the roof.. and X attempted doing so but fell down and scratched his entire back skin off. It was...not pretty.

Then Tom & Nick got bored..so they put chairs on Lisa's car.. yeah.

Somewhere in.. November and early December. I spent most of my time at Res. Still do actually. The nights where all we do is stay up and talk and drink. The infamous line of " so ..drink tonight? *smiles*. Here's a little taste :)

Fyi: RES = Residential Campus, basically where all the student who go to Griffith stay at. The ones above 18 that is -_-.

Lisa and Kempy were driving the res vans. Our group went with Lisa, fuck. She drives..like..oh my god. She speeds on bumps, like SPEEDS on bumps. So the bus went UP a bunch of times. My head kept hitting the roof like a billion times. At one point, she almost collided with another car .. Nadine and i screamed and nearly pee-ed our pants. We were sitting right at the back, so we SAW the collision almost happening at the side.

Drinking Sessions ;

This one was for Aika's farewell as well as..another random excuse to drink. Fumiya and Govind joined too. A pretty goood night though. Ended up hanging with Fumiya till the wee hours in the morning, got hungry , grabbed Chuckie and Nadine and walked to the gas station at 5in the morning. It was..a long long walk.

When we cooked dinner...

Kyo,Nadine and i went to Woolworths and shopped up a storm to cook that night. We bought a fuckload of meat. It was..amazing. The meat was smothered in red wine and garlic sauce with garlic stuff in the meat while being marinated. The flavour..*dies*. Kyo made eggs and rice while Nadine and i ate our meat with pasta.

City & Meraj's birthday.

Went to the city with Pike-rella and Nadine to get ciggies and alcohol. No idea why we decided to go to the city though.. Meraj asked us to throw him a birthday partyy last minute. So we agreed, got everyone to come down to drink and stuff. All we said ; free alcohol + free cake. Meraj left after cutting his cake though, which was strange considering it was HIS party anyway. He went to meet some other friends at South Bank and hung out with them instead, so we just finished the cake and alcohol. Pretty fun , haha. Chuckie brought his boobtastic ..robe like thing out. .. God.
