Trina and I left for Singapore on Friday night by train . Why train ? .
Due to the lack of funds obviously & because it was hella cheap . RM64 , to and fro .
Journey was about 10 hours .

Train was honestly not that bad . I mean , we had pretty okay leg space .
The only thing disturbing was the noisy kids and mosquitoes , oh and the weird smell that only Trina seemed to have smelt :P Smellyfish .

Reached Singapore after about a trillion stops at 9ish . Took a cab to Andrew's place .


Refreshed ourselves and the three of us headed out to explore Singapore a little .
Okay , maybe not Singapore .. more like two malls in Singapore .
Esplanade & Marina Mall .
Why`d we go there instead of the oh so famous Orchard Road ? No Max Brenner's there / No Mrs. Fields .I ended up not getting Max Brenner .
See , three days before Friday i was puking my brains out due to some viral infection .
So i didn't really wanna consume chocolate when i was having the worst stomach ache ever at the time .
I did however , get Mrs. Fields and so did a very happy Trina .Had lunch at some Italian place , walked to Marina Mall .
Trina went all paparazzi on me for some reason . SNAPsnapSNAP .

They had some pole dancing thing over in Marina Mall . very risque performance :P



Andrew was getting tired & my entire being was feeling like shit.

Went BACK to Andrew's place . Trina kept asking me if i still wanted to go to the concert because i looked like i was going to die or something , i don`t know .
I TOLD YOU I WOULD BE FINE AFTER AWHILE TRINA : D

Next destination : Pavillion , which was SUPPOSEDLY near Changii Airport according to the map .
It somehow didn't feel so far away . Reached pretty early so i took pictures of our surroundings .
Decided to grab something to eat before the concert .

The venue was really , really small .
The opening acts for FFAF were A Vacant Affair , Caracal , and Astroninja .
When we went in , Astroninja was performing . Right after that , a few vj's from a local Singapore radio station came out and entertained the crowd .
They had a small competition , the Air Guitar competition .
Chose 5 people outta the audience .
Two white chicks , one dude from Indonesia , and 2 singaporeans .
They all had really odd nicknames given by the DJ's .
I personally really really like , Lil Pee Pee ( the indonesian dude) .
There were a bunch of white guys behind us screaming " LIL PEE PEE ! " and a bunch of malay dudes calling the white girls "white trash" .
Just so happened , the DJ named one of the girls " Big Kahuna`s " .
And the white dudes behind us started screaming " TAKE IT OFFFFF !! SUCK MY COCKKK "

Indonesian dude was the winner \w/ He crowd surfed and air guitar`ed . Mmmm .
Soundcheck dudes kept screwing with the crowd . Meanies . about 10 minutes after 8.
Ironically , everyone in the crowd was dressed in black . You know , for a Funeral ? Gettit? Yeap .
The crowd got really impatient and started chanting " Funeral!Funeral!Funeral!"
...then most awesome sound was heard .

The intro to Into Oblivion .[Nolah,it was Queen's We are the champions first remember.Trina here,Haha.]

Riight , we are the champions . DAMN POTONG I TELL YOU . ANYWAY , Into The Oblivion started and the crowd went INSANE and started pushing and moshing . Including us . The moshpit was fucking crazy . We got pushed into it and joined in . Girls and guys started pushing,punching ,swaying around .
Fucking crazy but so worth the pain .Behind us , they formed another circle mosh pit as well .

They unfortunately didn't play Drive, Red Is The New Black .

It was legendary fun , one of the best concerts ever honestly . right next to muse and slipknot.
Funeral For A Friend had really good crowd interaction . Trina and I managed to push our way infront . From being RIGHT at the back , we ended up RIGHT in front . About 3 people away from touching the band members jeans . You can tell from the pictures too :D

Didn't get to take ANY good videos . My camera fell apart half way .
Thank goodness i managed to slot everything back in - haha .
I was really really afraid that my phone would drop on the floor cuz i had it in my pockets . Didn't bring a bag . And i heard phones dropping on the floor .
Thankfully EVENTHOUGH,
we were moshing && my phone didn't drop . My poster , however. Was ripped .
The autograph was still intact . The bottom of the poster got all scrunched .
But it`s okaaayy . I think it has character . Hahah .


At the end , Ryan threw his drumsticks . And the girl infront of us got it .
Trina was really really close to getting it . And i shouldve just pushed that girl and grabbed it from the floor . But .. i don`t know why i didnt -__-"
Blahh .

After the concert , Trina and I were extremely , EXTREMELY dehydrated . But we couldnt find any stores . So we just got a cab and went back to Andrew's . Ordered Mcdonalds .
Fell dead asleep after watching snippets of Jarhead .

Woke up at sevenSHARP . Train was at 8.40 , got ready and went to the train station .
I think it was about 8.30 while buying drinks , Trina asked me
" Rhema , where's my bag ?"
" Huh , what bag ? Your holding it !"
" No..my blue bag "
" Wait .. WHAT ? *goes to the seating area* Oh..MY GOD DID YOU LEAVE IT IN THE CAB?"
"...."
"I dont remember you bringing it in the cab though .."

(Shut up,it happens!.....Trina here.)

*both of us burst out laughing and i called Andrew to check if her bag was outside his place .
It was .


ZZZ .
So after we settled the commotion , we rushed to the train boarding area .
ONLY TO FIND THE FUCKING TRAIN FUCKING LEFT .

And we were about 3 minutes late . THREE minutes . I swear to god i wanted to cry but i laughed insanely instead . Both of us did -__-"
We handle sticky situations like , really well .
Went to the counter to buy tickets for the next train . Which just HAD to be at 1pm . First class was the only thing available .

Reluctantly both of us bought is as we had zero choice . $68 , which is approx Rm156pointsomething.

Blah , we had about four hours till the next train . We sat down on the seats at the waiting area like poor musicians , talked about the funniest things .
Andrew came to drop off Trina's bag after church . Boarded the train ON TIME . Even the guards kept laughing at us . Grrrr .

Overall , it was a trip to Singapore VERY well spent . Despite the accidents and mishaps . Funeral For A Friend was awesome beyond awesome .The company was kickass too ;)
