I recently came across this band in myspace.Formerly known as Goodbye tomorrow,Alive in Wild Paint truly is worthy of being recognized.The instruments are all carefully delivered to pull the heartstrings;complimented with Travis Bryant's voice.With that,you have wave of songs that compels you to hit the replay button and have haunting lyrics like "I'll share your ghost tonight" stuck in your head.It's just entirely beautiful and it could leave you in a daze.Personally,the gems from the album would be "Ceilings","Cold Spell" & my personal favorite,"A Vespertine Haunting".

This undeniably brilliant band deserves the recognition.So take the time to get acquainted.Trust me,you wouldn't want to miss this one.

2 years ago,around this time,we were at Tiesto.

We look like cheap whores.Haha

But more importantly,
We weren't that fat then.

So here's the Sunburst Post -- 4 days ago.

Ma & I started the day at 1u.Lunch at Jarrod & Rawlins with the Older Teon.The Weiners are freakin' yummy seriously.Freakin'.Yummy.My parents chose that day to be themselves and started one whole ridiculous shenanigan which ended up being..well,ridiculous.Confusing I know. But yea,we went back to my place after that to get my stuff & Rhema quizzed me on Cation & Anion 'till my sister finally dropped us back at Moses's residence where Kirsten was waiting.We got ready and did the Martian dance which was really delightful If I do say so myself.Um..So after that we made our way to this Restaurant called D'Empire Brasserie in Mont Kiara with the most scrumptious pizza right next to Pizza Hut.Go try ok;)

While chowing down,it hit us that we didn't know how we were getting to Sunburst since the area was still under development.So we paid and walked towards the main road 'till I saw a petrolling car.Yes,I stopped them & we hitched a ride to Plaza where St. Patrick's day was going on.Kirsten's friend,I forgot his name,was nice enough to pick us up when he'd already reached the Equestrian Club. The place was packed.Police must have had a swell time ripping out those fines.But yea,the place was not as bad as expected.We were pretty traumatized by the Melacca's Revelations experience.Freakin' horseshit stein.We were just in time for Reza Salleh's performance which Rhema literally stormed to.

Gotta give this dude some props.He's pretty kickass.He reminds me of John Mayer,but yea,he has catchy psychedelic tunes.Have a listen : Bumped into a couple of people while waiting for John Legend & Incubus to start.Oh,The Roots aren't half bad either.Who the heck are they seriously?!sorry.

As usual,we crowded in front of the stage waiting for John Legend's performance which was mesmerizing and totally worth the wait.So many bloody tall people there.The agonizing tiptoe-ing was definitely worth seeing him shake his toosh.Guys,it's not always about the toned body,compensate by shaking it like John Legend.

When John Legend was singing his final number,we made our way to the other stage where Incubus was gonna perform,but unfortunately heaps of other people beat us to being upfront.So we became the people we hate..again,we pushed and excused ourselves to the front,until some twats wouldn't let us pass and we stood in the potential moshing zone.

Now everybody hold your breath for Brandon Boyd ;





The performance was ineffable.His body is just not human.Ok,and his voice is amazing too.


Haha,there's a very similar picture during FFAF,I'm just not as sweaty there.

OH!AND THEY HAD THOSE AIR-BLOWN PLASTIC CASTLE PLAYGROUND THINGS! They bloody rock.I tried the one where you put on a vest and it's hooked to a rope and when you run really fast it pulls you back and you fall.There was also the one where you put on the Sumo suit and fight each other with sticks.and!and!They had the mechanical bull which was so tempting to go on but I'd look like a complete maniac on it.I always wanted to try those things where you put on a suit and you jump on this wall and the suit sticks you to the wall.I have no idea what it's called.....Ok,I'm getting too excited over this.

Conclusion is,we loved sunbursts.

After watching 10,000 BC with Adrian,Dinesh,Louis and Cham Ming we went to Borders as Dinesh needed to get...some book.

I found this extremely funny book. I laughed so hard i teared.



Hahahha. Genius.

So , Trina celebrated her 17th birthday at Rick's Cafe Casablanca ,ONEBangsar.

The day started off with meeting Kiki to get Trina's present! Then we headed back to my place and (sort of) watched Across The Universe . Adrian came over ..to watch Gossip Girl and to take up space :P .

I WAS DETERMINED TO BE EARLY THIS TIME SO I GOT READY AT FIVE THIRTY. Louis came over at 6.45 SHARP ( i told him to come over at 6.45) . Not bad eh , Lulucakes? (:

Uhh... Hahah.

KooBoy carpooled and off we were to , Rick's Cafe.


KooBoy,Kiki,Cakes and I were the first to arrive. Just as i planned,to be on TIME. Trina,Wanru and Matthiew reached not long after.

As soon as Anthea arrived , we ordered our main dishes from a special menu for Trina's Birthday.

We had to choose from three mains ; i only managed to snap two pictures of the mains.

And for dessert ;

Jian Hao , who couldn't make it for the dinner managed to add a little twist to her day by surprising her with a cake that he left before the dinner! So sweeeet.

The waiter cut a huge huge piece . Imagine trying to finish this huge portion by yourself. Tsktsk.

None of us managed to finish it , so we had them pack it so Trina could take it home , Haha.
After dessert , it was time for Trina's present from Lulucakes,KooBoy,Kiki and I.
Boy oh boy , her reaction was to-die-for!

Kirsten and i stuffed the box with tons of paper making it seem like there wasn't anything in the box EXCEPT paper :p

The top was so light , so that helped alot. Haha . Kirsten stuffed her card in the box to make Trina think that we gave her a huge box...with just one card.( which worked btw. ) Hahaha . After about 3 minutes of digging , she found... a soft thing wrapped in white paper.

See ! See ! Her face was in complete and utter shock it was ..amazing. Mission accomplished la.

After Trina was able to breathe properly , we took MORE pictures!

It was definitely a night to remember . Trina , I hope you had a good time(: Happy Birthday again !
