Ooh,the date is quite cool actually.

I think

We were suppose to re-do Victor's birthday thing again,but amongst us only.I think So Rhema & I yet again arrived at the venue far too early. However we managed to get Victor's present between those..oh,I don't know,2 or 3 hours wait?



Of course,Victor won't be using them ever anyway.But they're funny stuff aren't they? Besides,it's the thought that counts.
Unfortunately,Victor didn't know that virtue because he left the presents behind at some point & even told us to take it back 'cause he thought it was a man thong.Grr.

Interesting weekend i must say..
I use the term interesting very very loosely .
Friday started of with Trina and I heading to the Curve ..

It was supposed to be part of Victor`s Post-Birthday Celebration sorta thing .
Managed to get him a lil something something .
Had lunch at the newly opened restaurant called The Apartment . Pretty pretty place .
Nicer than Ms.Read i must say . Very very friendly waiters . Didn't get to try much.

THEY SELL CUPPACAKES.

Anywayyy. I ordered some Beef sandwich thing . It was pretty yummy except for the fact it had Mustard in it . I'm not one of Mustard's biggest fans so .. you get the idea.

After lunch , we walked around cineleisure waiting for victor and tuck who took so long to come .
We really need to start being fashionably late again .
We've been early twice and we end up waiting for ages .
Watched The Simpsons .

Was the funniest cartoon movie ever . Filled with "D'ohs" and Homer-moments .

So yea,we watched The Simpsons after Stoner & Victor finally arrived.It is hands-down my favorite-est-er-est cartoon forever.Bart is such a cutie pie;& I never use cutie pie on anyone/thing & actually mean it.Nonsensical movie but that's what it's all about;Minus the Hokey pokey. After the movie,we made our way to Hartamas for dinner & Jam Asia. The performances were very draggy.
Too draggy in fact,that Stoner,Victor & I dozed off a couple of times.
Because we were waiting for the better performances,which happened to be the last act.
So for the sake of better seats,we stooped it out for 3 hours 'till the end. & it was very much worth it.

The event took really long to start . Once again we were on time . Ha .. ha .
The opening act`s guitarist Ivan was really friendly .
Talked to him about his band and their gigs.
Ask Me Again were pretty good . I don't have much recordings of them .

I did manage to record a song they did with the lead singer of Jahz Disciples .
I think his name is Giresh .He sounded SO much like Spencer Chamberlain from UnderOATH . Very metalcore .

Paku was pretty alright too .

The lead singer sounded very Coheed and Cambria / Pete Wentz Style .
There was Auburn and Zalacca after Paku .
But didn`t really hear them as Trina and I made our way outside because it was freaking cold . Heard a little of Zalacca though . I think it`s a family band or smthn .
Throne Away performed last .

Played their new stuff . I guess the hiatus did them well .




I could only HEAR one song title " Chewie Is My Co Pilot "

Funny thing , I had a shirt that said exactly that . What ? I know Chewbacca looks a little weird
The crowd wanted them to play one of their old songs , Amnesty . Apparently they hadn`t practiced it in a long time . I thought they sounded pretty good for a band that hasn't practiced that one particular song .

The night ended pretty late . Adjourned to Rasta for a little bit . Victor drove us home . Lord yes , Victor drove :P which I find slightly funny since its WujiVictor . Got home safe and sound . Watched Mr.Brooks with Trina for the 3rd time (?) She fell asleep , again . Woke up this afternoon and watched it again .

Watched The Invisible later at night . Wasn't that bad . Although there was a certain part that was cut out of the movie . Which the trailer did show .
If you`ve watched the trailer , it's the old man part where he says " you have to solve your murder" something like that .
And he sees the "invisible" boy frm the hospital window . Um yeah that part . I'll be getting the dvd to find out what happened with the old man . Heh .


Now i`m off to watch more Grey's Anatomy (:

After school,left school and picked Rhema up to go over to my place.We were suppose to wait until Andrew reached my place to drop his bag off 'cause he didn't want to lug it around.But since JiaJiaBing & Stoner were already at O'Briens.We left and met up with them first.Followed by Andrew's arrival.

Since there wasn't anything the least bit interesting I could put up over here.I'll just do a pictorial elaboration.

The story behind this picture :
We were waiting for dinner time & being the jobless people we are,we did nothing for a very long period of time.Andrew & Stoner were having their game of If-you-do-whatever-nonsense-that-could-be-thought-of-you-will-get-whatever-amount-of-points-in-this-genius-game-of-life-we've-cleverly-come-up-with.
Since Rhema & I weren't participating,we discussed a scheme of pushing Stoner into the fountain since he did mention how he wouldn't mind being soaked.However,when I attempted pushing him,he overpowered me because I felt a sense of reluctance from being responsible if he were to complain later on and held back force & he somehow pushed Andrew's bagpack into the fountain instead.

I truly am sorry for that.For the passport that apparently can't be scanned through immigration if it got drenched & your weekend supply of clothes that smells of disinfectant chemicals now.

So that picture is Stoner trying to comfort Andrew for his misfortune.

I woke up at 6.45am to get ready and head over to Rhema's house for the convenience of going to Bukit Jalil Stadium for the Cheer competition.The crowd wasn't as many as last year,guess people lost the spirit.Unlike the Blitzerz supporters to our right who were all packed and ready to drive us bonkers.The place was considerably quiet as well,not as hyped up as last year's one.

Out of nowhere came Dynamitez mascot - A dynamite.
I wonder if there'll be anymore copycats next year that would decide to plagiarize other's work & use the idea as their own.It happens a lot when it comes to competitions.

One of the best parts of watching Cheer :

Watching them cheerleaders fall down.Sadistic but extremely amusing.
I kind of pity those who fell flat on their faces & butt on,I feel your pain,dudes.
Nevertheless,I respect that they can pick themselves up after the hard impact and go on with the routine.Except for this girl from Sri KL I believe,it was solely funny when she fell down.

There were a bunch of boy teams who were pretty darn good although it is fairly gay.I'm not too sure of the results since I skipped the finals,but I know Dynamitez won and all.I'll get to that later.
This year's routines weren't as mind blowing as expected,but there were a couple of really uh,eccentric ones.Like the one that used freakin' hard trance as the song & a bunch of very weird moves followed with it.Very strange indeed,but I'll give that it's somewhat innovative.Not the trance song,a few teams routines.
& what's with everyone using Fergie's music.Come on people,there are so many more fast beat songs out there.Fergie's isn't catchy,it's plain annoying.

Although most of the teams had major blunders.Especially Stunners one,they deserved another chance to do it again on the first day seriously.

So anyway,Dynamitez were in the second half.

They must've done real well on the finals.Being the champions and everything.
So congratulations Dynamitez,job well done.
I wanted Stunners to win lah,you see.So I'm not all that satisfied.
But I'd rather Dynamitez win if not Stunners.

P.S/ I actually have many videos to be posted up here.But the whole goddamn thing keeps failing on me when I upload it.So you guys would just have to wait for it.
