Nothing much happened the day i arrived in Brisbane. So i'll start with the following day.

thursday.

woke up absolutely exhausted. walked to GardenCity's bus depot and took a bus from there to the City.

Upper Mt Gravatt's the suburb i'm at. the bus station is so clean.

the buses are really nice. Got off at Queen Street Mall, had lunch at ...

Hands down the best freaking Noodles in Brisbane. Noodle Box is the ♥. Not only does it come in a box*duh, it tastes like something we'd have back in KL too. It has TASTE. Most of the food here's kinda bland. No Mcdonalds chilli sauce to rescue me :(

Oh Audrey, i tried ;

Pretty awesome i must say. They play really cool music at the store too. I tried Krispy Kreme as well. It's disgustingly sweet.

I know everyone's all gaga over it. But..it's waaay too sweet for my liking. First bite; stand-able. Second bite ; not too bad. Third bite ; holy smokes damn sweet *spits out food. It's really really sweet.

Queen Street Mall ;

see ; i was actually trying to take a picture of the goths. but the people walking blocked me -_-"

It’s like a street with malls. So in the middle of the malls there’s like a road.I saw this guy juggling 4 swords on stilts. I couldn’t take pictures though, camera ran out of battery : (
The dude was really really funny, he kept involving the crowd in his stunts and making jokes. I was so amused.

While packing dinner at this Malaysian stall , I saw two malay looking guys. Then they started talking in BM. I was like OGMOGMAOGMDAOGMAMALAYSIANS!!!!! ( yes la.. Was excited). Then I looked at my dad , and gave him the “ OH MY GOD ONE OF US!@!#!$#%@ “ look Thank god he understood.
Then he suddenly started talking to them in BM. And they were like O____O MALAYSIANS! So cute :p So we started talking and all, their in QUT. But ohmygodla, I was so happy to meet someone from home. And they were so nice!
Because it's spring here..My dad insisted i take pictures of the flowers and everything..-_-

there.one picture of the purple flowery tree i keep seeing everywhere.

friday.
Went to the city again. Looked for the Optus shop and FINALLY got my phone after much hassle. See, Australia has this thing on Under-18’s. Everything’s just way more complicated when you’re under18. The Optus lady that helped me was so so incredibly sweet. She was awesome. She kept calling the other Optus people and was asking them to let me have my line and all that. And FINALLY, they allowed me to get a line but I can`t apply for internet and other services until I`m 18. BUT EVS.

Brisbane city has alot of talented people. This time i saw this guy who uses spray paint to create art on paper. It was absolutely beautiful. He sits on the ground and painstakingly sprays the paint and tries to show people what he's good at. And THAT's how he earns his living.Talk about passion.

Yup, all spray paint. He uses paper to create lines/curves stuff like that. But isn't everything just SO pretty?

On the way back , i saw some pretty cool graffiti work at Cultural something..

Went to Ash and Leah's( homestay parents) for dinner.. Yeah.. That was interesting. Found out they eat vegetarian meals 4 times a week.. Lol, but thank goodness I can pack my own food and my stuff in their fridge la. So I won’t suffer too much. There’s no airconditioner in the room though, they leave the windows open.

But they offered to give me a fan if I really can’t stand the heat. Wooh.Oh my room’s really big too. I was expecting minimal space and all. MY AUNTY LA, kept saying I’d be in a super small room no space bladiblabla. Too much. Closet space is awesome. Bed’s a single bed but who’s complaining wei. I’m happy it’s big and there’s enuff space for all my clothes and my bags :p I have a desk too. Pictures..once I’ve moved in k.

sunday.
SURFERS PARADISE is the sex. I love the beach. I love the sand. Went to South Bank by bus, caught another bus to Nerang Rail. Took an hour long train ride to Surfer's Paradise Bus Station and then it another bus ride to the beach itself. Oh my god it was absolutely beautiful.

Yes la, i haad to write something in the sand :D heheh. i wrote this post a really long time ago. so i changed the dates on the post. i`ll blog about..orientation and other stuff later on.
