Ninjafish gets wet.

Our beloved Izzy J turned 19th on the 11th of February. The night before we headed to the new Murni's. Surprised him with Milsya's aunt's AWESOME cupcakes + Pavlova. He probably thought the surprise ended there...but uh huhh honey, that's not all we planned for Izzy J.

About a week earlier i think, Milsya,Zal and I were already thinking of things to do but our plans always got complicated because of college and curfews. After awhile deciding, we finally decided on a BBQ Pool party at Aziz's condo.

Izzat's entire birthday week was spent going to One Utama multiple times to find Izzy a present. All of us agreed on Macbeth shoes. (because they are cool. Oh and,Adam Lazzara wears them!Ok no, but that was MY reason :p )

Friday was SO hectic. So so hectic. Picked up Alisya from the LRT station then the both of us went to Giant to meet up with Milsya & YeeLing to get the food for the BBQ.

We were SO undecided with the amount of lamb! I think we bought more than enough in the end though :)

Then i got a text from Izzat asking what i was doing or something and i lied and said i was washing my car and i`d text after I was done. Mm yeah about 3 hours later i texted back saying i'm finally done with all the errands i had to do and if he wanted to meet up.

THEN AH. Aiyooo. Stress.

He suddenly said he had to pick up his friend from the LRT station and that he'd meet up after. And ALL OF US, forgot that his friend was coming. Complications MAX ok.

After about 2-3 hours of freaking out, Alisya and i cooked up a diabolical plan. We got Izzy to come pick me up. Alisya went to hide when Izzat was outside. I went outside with a scarf and told Izzat that we have to go somewhere and that i have to blindfold him and drive. Not the INTIAL plan, but it worked out anyway.

Alisya was dubbed"Hannibal", the voiceless helper in the car! Hahaha.

Izzat kept trying to get Hannibal to speak, but to no avail. Hoho. Izzat was SO GODDAMN FIDGETYYYY. Lord jesus christ.He tried recognizing the route i was taking so i had to create a diversion by driving into SMKDJ's housing area and reversing/going into small lanes/stopping/reversing again.

We finally reached Aziz's place and Izzat kept saying hello to random people as he was blindfolded and..I actually don't know why he said hi to random people. Haha.

Poor boy was quite freaked out when we used steps and when he felt water touching his feet.
He kept saying," RHEMA RHEMA HANNIBAL PLEASE PLEASE NO WATER PLEASE PLEASE NO WATERRR WEEEII DONT WANT LAAA RHEMAAAA".
I'm here trying to NOT burst out laughing, I just kept saying "NOOOO LETS GO!"

We got him to the edge of the pool and BOOM, he was throw inside very effectively.

Then we presented Izzat with his Macbeths in a pretty cloth bag which we all (the night before),decorated at Faizal's place!

The BBQ had to be dunzo by 10PM unfortunately. Sya,Zal,Milsya,YL and I did most of the cleaning,while the rest of them went to shower. But see,helping out has its benefits because the 5 of us were able to shower at Aziz's condo :D Instead of some pool-side washroom. Hoho.

Alisya and i felt SO incredibly clean after that, our cleanliness deserved a picture.

Izzat re-opened his present and tried em on. All of us agreed that the shoes would look smex with his WB jeans! Who picked the jeaaaaaaans la :p

We hung out for a bit at Aziz's apartment before everyone started leaving one by one. Sya,Zal and I chilled out a bit more and watched Surrogates. I drove with one eye closed back home. I was SO tired,holy. I don't even remember what happened after that i think i just went home and died until the next evening.
So there you go :)

Happy Birthday Izzy J :) I'm sorry you had to be tortured in the car,but I hope you had fun! Love ya long time partner in crime :D

Oh,and THANK YOU Alisya for maintaining the calm when we had our mini freak out session at my house,haha. Love you babe ♥♥

Say-Oh-Sin ♥

Never in my life did i think,Saosin would step on Malaysian soil. When i first heard that they were coming, i think i was SO excited i could barely contain myself. As the date approached,i lost most of my excitement. Even on the day of the concert, i was so uninterested and irritated, i felt like bailing.

Thank goodness i had pretty awesome people around me who made me feel a little better and Saosin turned out to be part of a series of fortunate events that has been following me until..today.

Saosin was SO enjoyable. I went with Izzy,Naz,Milsya,YL,Hariz & Ashy. The boys were in the biggest mosh pit ever. Yee Ling and i stuck together and braced the crowd! We were quiiiite near the stage. Mosh/Pushing skills yo.

Love Me Butch was the opening act. Everytime i hear them, they honest get better and better.

After the concert, we got to meet the band and get our stuff signed. They were SUCH nice guys! Cove was probably the nicest of them all. Chris seemed really tired,but he was still pretty nice.

After the concert, we went to Williams and i tasted the best Indo Mee of my life.

What a fucking good kick off concert.
